SOMETHING TO LIVE FOR
I remember when I got saved it’s as if someone turned on a lightbulb. I saw the world differently. The things the world had to offer really didn’t mean that much anymore. I would drive to work and see people walking along the street wondering if they were saved, if they knew Jesus. I had a totally different perspective on life. Jesus is what mattered now and I wanted to know Him more. I wanted others to experience the joy I was experiencing.
But being human I drifted back and had one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom. I know now that I didn’t put my total trust in God. I felt torn and unhappy. God delivered me from anxiety attacks after I had COVID where I could begin to trust the Lord.
Don’t make the mistake I made. Remember the Parable of the Sower. Stay in the Word – Faith comes and increases by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ – Romans 10:17, pray in the Spirit, help others, fellowship and be an encourager. Learn more about Jesus and make Him the center of your life. He wants you to reign in life by accepting the abundance of Grace and the gift of His righteousness (Romans 5:17).
Make Jesus known to others to further the Kingdom. Tell them that Jesus offers a better way. Being in God’s family doesn’t compare to what the world offers. Jesus is something to live for. When you are born again you become God’s beloved. You are highly favored, greatly blessed and deeply loved. You can bet your life on it!
